I have a pretty decent variety of birds, but I hadn't heard of a BUckeye until yesterday. Could someone please let me know what they are, their qualities, traits, etc?
Maybe a pic?

Thanks,
Carla

we were 95-100 last week and they seemed to do OK. I mainly got mine because I am from OH the buckeye state. I had originally looked to just get RIR's till I read about them, and saw they were on breed conservancy critical list. The pullets are real friendly, I have two roos, and they dont come up as easy as the pullets (them you just get a treat and they will sit on leg and let you hold them) but if you get hold of them the settle real quick. Mine 5 1/2 months and have had no problems from them.
