Whats A Fair Price For Duck Hatching Eggs & Eating Eggs

My New Black Runner Ducks are laying eggs, I am getting 2-3 eggs every day.
What is an average cost for duck eating eggs and hatching eggs

That would probably depend on the market conditions in your area especially for eating eggs.

When we are able to sell the duck eggs for eating, we get $3/dozen. We also sell chicken eggs, and are more apt to sell those. Some people just can't get their mind wrapped around the idea of eating duck eggs.

We do inform people of how great they are and how great they are for baking. Haven't sold hatching eggs, so I can't help you there, but as someone else stated it will depend on the market in your area.

khaki campbells, runners, swedish are the kinds of breeds we have and all are great layers. Currently we have 12 girls and since the laying season has started again we are getting 10-11 eggs/day from them.​

Awesome, Thank you. My other concern is that we have one big coop with one chicken in it. Can they share the coop. Its a big old tool shed.

i just had someone respond to a craigslist ad for hatching duck eggs for 8.00 a dozen. they want to eat them.

due to the ga dept of ag restrictions i cant/wont differentiate so they are buying them to eat at 8.00 a dozen
