My chickens free range on a fenced off part of my back yard. i noticed some fleas today jumping on the grass. Is there a safe spray out there to keep the fleas off the grass that wont kill the grass nor harm my peeps?

Although it's not a spray, Diatomaceous Earth is a safe insect/bug killing powder that is absolutely harmless to everything, EXCEPT...bugs! Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. It works by basically cutting into the bug's exoskeleton, and dehydrating the insides of the bug(s). It is safe for the environment, and NOT safe for bugs! Just sprinkle it arond your yard. The only catch is that if it gets rained on, it doesn't work.
