What's at the bottom of the layena feed?

Having worked in a feed mill (30 years ago. Boy was that hard to say!) I would have to agree with sjh. I don't know that the grains and other stuff could bypass the pelleting process and end up in a bag.

Well - thanks so much ya'll! Chickens just seem happy and thriving, so I am in a calm state of mind. It's just that I have lost 2 batches of chickens to predators, that I would be ferociously upset, if my third batch died from my stupidity.

Tweeza - not hard to write 30 years! Shows wisdom and experience.

Looks like there has been moisture in the bag. Throw it out. I lost two hens to mold like yours at the bottom of the bag (wish it had been on top). Their crops quit working and they basically starved when a fungus developed in there. I complained and got two bags of feed, different brand, for my trouble.
