my RIR has eggs like crazy,,as do the arucanas,,,my astro's aint that big yet,,,,but the heat doesnt seem to bother them a bit,,,but the slightest HINT of cold and the egg making machine slows WAY down.,,,,my arucanas, seem to have the hardest time with the heat,,, even though their mostly white,,, they seem to be "thicker",,,,but in over a year, i havent lost 1 chicken due to heat. i think my biggest help is the sprinklers.
