What's better...crumbles or pellets?

All the feed stores around here carry pellets. I have to travel about 45 mins to get the crumbles...

I've not been having an easy time finding pellets either...but I have one other place to call yet. Otherwise I'll have to special order it.

If I can find pellets I will buy a small bag at first.......just to make sure they like it.

But I actually took an old food processor and ground them up a little to make them a little bit smaller, not a crumble but not a pellet. Definitely pellets here!! I used to use crumbles and found the waste was enormous! At first, the pellets look huge but chickens can eat stuff a lot bigger than those pellets. Mine gulp down grapes and BIG pieces of bread like it's nothing. I recommend pellets, for sure!
