Sorry for the gruesome pictures but I got to find out what's eating my chickens. I originally thought that raccoons might be doing it but I thought they only ate the head, I've caught and dispatched 5 btw. But whatever is eating them usually takes it about 50ft in l behind the coop in the woods and only feathers remain. Sometimes they just eat in the coop, I have no idea how they are getting in and out, figured I'd see some feathers stuck in the wire but on the times were they take the chicken, you'd never know anything happened unless you count, I started with 30 2 months ago, as of last night I'm down to 15, so it's imperative I figure this out. I did buy a game camera and it's set up right now and stocked up on 5 dp coon traps, 2 leg traps, 3 snares and a nice .22 revolver, so I'm ready to battle. I've also uploaded a picture of scat from some kind of animal. Normally I wouldn't think twice about it cause I have a German shepherd but that is way too small to be from my dog. Anyway, I appreciate the Intel, and I live in nw louisiana if that matters. Sorry for the graphic pictures.
