What's Going On? (big pics)

This is my mutt pullet. She is just hitting 18 weeks old and within about 3 weeks this huge comb popped up! Only a few weeks ago she just had a little red ridge and then BAM!
She also has these bright teal blue patches on her cheeks, what are they? I've been told she is an EE mix with the blue legs, so I wasn't sure if the cheek things went along with that.

Am I not seeing that I have a roo or is she just physically showing her dominance (she is the dominant one of the bunch)

Wow, they are beautiful! Don't Silkies have blue ear lobes? The second one looks very much like my two EE/BArred Rock mixes, Iris and Hazel. What is she?? Iris is VERY meaty, just like yours. Here they are so you can see. The first two pics are Iris then Hazel-their legs are more greenish than your girl's are, though:

The 2nd could be a Black SexLink. As for the bright red comb, she's probably getting close to laying.

The first one looks like a mix who definetely has some EE in her. I'm thinking she might give you some lovely blue eggs, with those ear lobes that color.

Well, the blue earlobes do not denote blue egg color. Silkies have those and they lay white or cream eggs. She could have Silkie as well as Easter egger in her-it really is hard to say with crossbreeds.
