What's going on with my duck?

Yes it's okay for the ducklings to drink the ACV water. I wouldn't use the Benedryl at the same time in the same bucket though

Have you listened to her chest hear any thing abnormal ? If you don't see any improvement  with the ACV you might want to put her on an antibiotic you'll have to put the bucket up so the ducklings can't drink out of it. But if this is air sac- respiratory. she looks like she is having a hard time getting a breath.

I didn't hear anything at all. I'll read check though when I get the chance. What antibiotic would you suggest? What's egg withdrawal period? I will need to move ducklings right?

I wouldn't separate her from her babies unless she is finished with them because it might stress her out more to not have them. Just put the container up where she can only access it. In most feed stores it's Oxytetracycline I believe and Penicillin.I' go with Tetracycline. you can find dosages on line at Poultry pedia.

How is she doing today on the ACV? @TherryChicken

I've already given that. Didn't do anything. The benedryl is doing way better then that. Everyday she seems to be getting better, she now just has her moments where before she was constantly doing it.

It's like at first she acted like she had a lot of gunk, now she just acts like it's slight aggregation from the gunk, she's doing a lot better now while being on the benedryl.

Sounds like it is getting better

Hopefully she'll be completely over it soon then.

Thank you I hope so too! Hope in another week or so and she won't be doing it anymore. I got the dosage for benadryl from someone who works at a western store and works with the poultry. I was told many time my chickens had mycoplasma, when no medicine worked. Gave them benadryl n they cleared right up. But my duck is getting chicken dosage

Well if it works then stick with it.

let us know how she is doing. You can also use the ACV as a tonic for your ducks and chickens 1 Tab to 1 gal of water.
