I have 2 Royal Palm Toms, 1 Blue Slate and 1 Black Spanish Tom. The black spanish is not hanging around with the group any more. I found him out in the pasture around the geese and ducks and then two days ago I could not find him at all. He was in the coop laying on the floor. He stayed there all day and then yesterday I did not see him at all.
I know they are territorial, I have 5 hens (2 Royal Palms, 1 Burbon Red and 2 Naragansette) Will all my Toms be banished one by one until the dominate Tom takes over the hens?
They free range on 40 acres if that matters. I have wondered if the Black Spanish was sick but when I filled the feeders he got up from laying on the floor of the coop and ate heartily. I hope he is around when I get home from work. He was a beauty and I was going to find him a few hens. (I started with 18 turkeys and now I'm down to 9, most died shortly after shipping)
