18 RIR's and 6 mixed RIR/EE's sitting on my counter in the kitchen and wondering if I really need that many chicks at one time!!

Oh, and 6 BR's, 6 cochins, and 3 orps in the mail from Lockedhearts from a BYC auction...

I hope my hubby understood what it meant when I told him I was buying a Dickey

In my 'bator:

3 green eggs from Candy (My EE/Americana)
9 from a friend at work - Buff Orps
3 from Flower - (DD's EE) (She's named the eggs already!)

8 under my broody bantam EE (one is hers, 6 are friend's Orps, and 1 is Flower's.

I am still (im)patiently awaiting my Buckeye eggs (I've already named two of those *sigh* I'm no better than a kid. lol
Hurry up and get here Hazel, Mildred and friends!! LOL

I got six showgirl eggs set to hatch thursday. I got two two dutch bantam and a serama in the brooder. And still no coop build.

In bator 1 I have 54 goose eggs, 64 assorted duck eggs and about 8 royal palm turkey eggs, set for three consecutive hatches a week apart starting next sunday.

in bator 2 I have 75 americaua blue eggs, 59 buff orpington and six turkey.

in LG bator 3, I have 42 buff orp ,,..

I have 2 more LG bators warming up for some more BO eggs and some Del x buff cross I am going to try for meat birds..

soon we will be setting guinea eggs from 12 hens.. and today we finally found one muscovy nest with 7 eggs in it..
