What's in your Poultry First Aid Kit?

I'm putting a first aid kit together, as I have 24 (1 lost to pasty butt, darn...I think it was a little crested buff polish

) 6 day old chicks. Am wondering what everyone else has in their first aid kit for poultry.

As I was cleaning up the fuzzy butts, I accidently pulled off the yolk cord and baby started bleeding. Quickly applied neosporin and purple kote, but it got me thinking about everything else I should have on hand for emergencies.

I, too, would like to know what the expert chicken parents keep in their first aid kit. I am a new new parent and would like to make sure I have a good setup on hand.

Here is what I keep on hand:

Multivitamins and electrolytes
Saline (for cleaning wounds and flushing out eyes)
BluKote (for cannibalism and cleaning wounds)
Sulmet
Terramycin OR Duramycin
Gauze
Stretch Gauze
Sterile tape
Cotton swabs
Disposable gloves
Syringes (I use them w/o needles for "force-feeding" sick birds but it's good to have them WITH needles too)
Vet Wrap
Vaseline
Prep-H
Permethrin (in case of mites)
Sulfur Ointment (for scaly leg mites)
A dog crate (I have two for quarantining or sick birds)
A few heat lamps
Flashlight (in case a bird escapes at night time)
Alcohol
Wazine 17 (in case of worms)


It is a lot, but it's worth it. I've also read that a crop tube is good to have. Good luck!

I hope all the experts post what's inside there box. I have just started and this is what I have

save a chick just found this at ts and its 3 packs for $1.99 and each pack is what you mix in a gallon says for all poultry electrolyte and vitamin supplement. very good for me so I can just open mix and go.
duramycin- 10 antibiotic 3.99 ts
I found the eletrolytes by the new chicks at ts have never seen it there before they got it in when they got the chicks.
and.as far as the antibotic goes I was sure this was all pourpous but it only list a few things In chickens it treats. can someone tell me please
