Can anyone tell me what breed this little beauty is? This is my first ever duckling. She has chick friends and I will be getting it a duckling friend as soon as tractor supply has ducklings.

Where did you get it from? Silver Apple Yards have the black stripe on the head with a black tail, but so can crosses of other breeds. Golden 300 is a hatchery cross

I got them from amazon; it says it can only be one of these types of ducks Pekin, Buff, Blue Swedish, Cayuga, Mallard, Fawn Runner and Rouen

Looks a little bit like one of my boys when he was a baby, but lighter colored. Could be a golden 300 or silver Apple yard. My boy’s a golden 300. Here’s a picture of him as a baby and now.

I’m also thinking Golden 300 or some other cross. The baby doesn’t look like any of those breeds.

This is the listing maybe I misread it. Like I said before this is my very first duck hatchling!

Looks like the baby is a mix. At this age it's hard to tell what the parents might be. Once he feathers out you might be able to tell.
