Whats My Grey Silkies Quality? Rate Petie

Okay; it's becoming confusing about which birds are being referred to in some of the posts.

Does the grey have red? I don't see it, but it could be the photo or the computer.

Actually, calico was applied to the splash with red first, then was used by someone else who had greys with red in their wings. If was a "hot" colour for awhile, but has not been lately. In neither case does it conform to a variety recognized by any standard, and would need a lot of work to get to a point where considering it is even an option. Right now there are too many variables as to what it is.

Yeah its confusing me too...All the pictures I have posted are of the same bird at different ages.

Edited to add I didnt notice this but as I was looking at him today that almost light buff coloring in looks in the picture is not what it looks like in person its a whitish grey.
