This guy is 9 weeks old. I have discounted every word I was told about my flock when I bought them because I don't have anything she said I did!

Any ideas? He is smaller than most of my others, which include SLW and probable RIRs.

He resembles a Wyandotte, but I don't recognize the color.. What color(s) are in his plumage?

he's really just got browns, that white and some black in there, nothing else yet. i can maybe try to get some better pictures of him. he's very skittish and loves to be up on the roosting bar. i have two SLW's and he's noticeably smaller than them.

It's hard to see in the photo clearly, but is it a straight comb? If so, it is definitely not a Wyandotte because both the color and comb would be wrong.

He looks like he could be a hybrid (mutt).

Here's a pic of the back of his comb and his neck

From this picture he looks like a Partridge Wyandotte. About his size though, could it be possible that you got a bantam?

Yep.....from that photo that's a rose comb and likely a Partridge Wyandotte as there is some patterning in the brown showing. And, agree with others, if he's a lot smaller he could be a banty.
