I hello I'm New and was looking for a answer.
I cracked open a fresh egg to fry and there was 2 little meaty kidney shaped balls attached to the yolk. I took them out and cut them and they also looked like meat too. Any1 got an answer. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to BYC

It could be either a meat spot or a bloodspot. Meat spots happen when bits of the lining of the oviduct get shed during the egg's formation process. It usually ends up in the albumen (white) and looks a lot like soil. Blood spots form when the yolk detaches and starts to move down the oviduct. Sometimes as it detaches it may rupture a tiny blood vessel and the blood ends up on the yolk. It is usually only a little spot, but in some cases it could be as much as a tablespoon of blood that end up in the egg. It's freaky looking but normal and unless the hen continues bleeding heavily afterwards, nothing to worry about.
