I only have two breeds on my list:

SQ Blue Andalusians
SQ White Faced Black Spanish (hubby's request)

There are others I'd like to add in the future, but I have to finish expanding the coop and the breeder pens. Can't wait!

We are planning a spring order from Ideal that will be for 5 farms including ours.

We are going to add a couple of Jaerhorns, Buff Cornish and Cornish X Rocks on our end. The other farms are adding a couple Embden Geese, Belgian D'Anvers, Frizzles, Silkies, Delawares and who knows what else.

Also would like to get some Magpie, Blue Swede, and Appleyard ducks

I am getting 30 Rio Grande poults, they just sent me the notice of when I can order.
And I hope I can find the Golden Spitzhauben eggs.

I am thinking things over, considering the following - some light brown leghorns, partridge rocks, and partridge Marans

I need good egg layers and don't mind if some are more flighty. We have lots of room for them and as long as we have a few tame ones the kids won't mind watching the antics of the flightier birds.

My wish list:

1. Someone give me an old 8 x 10 shed to convert into a henhouse.

2. An incubator.

3. Silkie eggs to put in my incubator.

4. A warm spring so all chicks have a good survival rate!

5. Find someone closer to us we can meet up with, discuss chickens, swap ideas/eggs and help build coops/henhouses when necessary.
