Whats safe to plant around the coop? Plants, Herbs?

You can plant a variety of garden veggies...I don't know if I would plant too many herbs because eating too many of them might affect the taste of the eggs. I know when I dewormed with garlic it would definitely affect the flavor of the eggs for a few days. They also like wild varieties of ground cover. You can do wild strawberries or my personal favorite for them - clover. They absolutely love that! Whatever you decide to plant, make sure that you try and make it something that comes back quickly. They'll chew it down quick!
