They're made partly with metal (metal ends of the batteries, where the pencil and eraser connect)

The answer to mine is they're both "on the ceiling"

That works. I would have said graphite, since some batteries contain graphite.

There are multiple different ways they could be related. Silicon makes arterial tissue less permeable. I do like science.

Maybe that they could break? Anyway, I think the point is more of coming up with ways that they are related, instead of trying to guess what the other person is thinking, because there are multiple right answers.

Yeah, I'd say it was. I think there can be a lot of answers, a "correct" answer just has to point out how they are related. I guess how you come up with an answer just depends on how you look at it.
