The translation is something like "pretty pickle". Usually made up of hot peppers and a variety of mixed vegetables, brined, drained and packed in oil. I like it on sandwiches(ham, tomato and mayo), on crackers or just plain.

Holy Cow.... some of you are indeed brave,

the weirdest thing I eat is spaghetti - o's with cottage cheese and I make macaroni and cheese with sour cream instead of milk.

There are foods that aren't my favorites, like pickled beets, but I have yet to find something I WILL NOT eat. My sister cooks Brussel Sprouts that could convert anyone! Cooked with butter and garlic until they're carmelized, yum!

I eat fried alligator back strap all the time. My favorite food is spinach though. Next to that is my Pork Spare Ribs glazed with my top secret pineapple habenero sauce.

Seems odd to me, reading this thread is making me hungry... and NONE of this sounds good!

especially the chicken feet! lol My husband makes fun of me for putting salsa and mayo on my scrambled eggs but then he ate dog when he was stationed in Korea...

Its taken me a LONG time to forgive him for that one.
