whats still air?

Hi I have seen that u guys use that term alot in incubators what are you guys talking about when you all use those words?

That means there are no fans, just vent holes.

A "still air" incubator is one without a fan.

It means that air is circulated through vent holes at the bottom and top.

whe ni made my incubator i instaled a fan and also drilled vent holes is it ok or should i plug them up?

also one more question please a guy with experince just came to see my baton in action and he say that i shouldnt have the eggs just sitting on the wire cloth is he tru or just jelous? I do have the eggs just laying on top or the wire cloth just like the hens would hatch would that work or do i have to put them standing up pointing side down?? please help.
