2 yrs. 7 mos... he's the older gentleman. I'm the young wife. When we were first married (24 and 27) I was sitting out front of the little hardware store with our puppy while my DH went in to purchase something. Two men smiled politely and went inside. When DH came back out he said "They came in and were talking about the cute little girl out front with her dog and wondered who her parents were." I was insulted at the time, but now in my youthful looking 32 yrs of age I look back and laugh about it.

The young man works at our feed store and went to school with my eldest nephew, just a couple years ahead of him. I was oblvious to his feelings until my son said something to me about does it bother me that this kid has a crush on me. I told him he was imagining things, then my custodian at school whose son also works there mentioned it. Next time we went in for feed I paid attention! He asked me what I was doing that evening, Saturday, and I said I was staying home and grading papers so he asked me to go dancing with him. I told him thanks but no thanks, he's young enough to be my son, and he said That's ok! You don't look like my mom, act like my mom, or treat me like my mom. He went on to tell me how he though I was pretty and sexy, etc,, lol then my son walked up behind him, he thought he was about to die.

I'm 43, he's 49. I interviewed an old friend's niece today...I recognized the last name and asked if she was his SISTER. I felt very old.

He used to have money til I moved in, now he is broke,

I havent figured out where it all went yet, I wonder if it went to chickens, chickens and more chickens and then the hardware to house em all and the feed to feed em all.
