Whats the Best bedding for a brooder?

I also use paper towels the first week or two and then switch to pine shavings. There are actually pine shavings under the paper towels. Ijust keep them covered up the first week or two.

In my indoor brooders I use Cozy-n'-Fresh pellets from TSC. Don't even know you have chicks in the house, except for the dust. When I move them outside they are put on pine shavings.
