I'm interested in hearing what you experienced pigeon owner/breeders think is the best pre-made pigeon foods. Brand names? Where do you buy your feed?

Thanks!

Kaytee baymore or Browns pigeon feed are probly the best brand names. I use the mix from my local feed mill. It has 3 typs of peas, pop corn, wheat, buck wheat, mittet, milio and sallflower. It dosent cost a fourtune either, just $19.75 a bag.

Thanks

I like Brown's feed, but their prices aren't very stable and the last few bags I got where kind of trashy. I have tried a little bit of Baden's from Canada and it seems like great quality stuff. A bit more regular in price than Brown's (they inflate like crazy). Lizzie Mae is what a few people down here have started using. I haven't yet but I have seen it. Very very clean feed and smelled nice. No trash, no dust, and they have a ton of different blends. They are from Ohio. A guy down here collects order and they send a truck down here to his house.
Currently, I can't afford any of those (whether it be from the feed itself or the cost of gas to pick it up), so I'm using Rock-n-rooster from Southern States. Mixing half and half the 5 grain scratch and the growth booster pellets. The birds are doing wonderful so I don't feel the need to buy anything fancy.
