I've had good luck from cackle hatchery I got my OEG BBreds from there truly satified.

I got mine from Meyer Hatchery in Ohio. They are developing nicely. The were born Sept 22 and are about ready to lay. Good color and very nice personality.

I will have local flock dels, Ideals dels and heritage dels to compare by the end of the month running around here. Sandhill sold out on Dels by early March.

If I had the incubator room and cash I'd buy shortcakes eggs and hatch them, nothing a hatchery sells is going to top that. I'm settling from just one cockeral from her lines maybe a pullet. I'll be happy with that.

I'll have 18 to look at for comparison so that will be fun.

Then I'll be culling to two roos or one and the best pullets.

They're not here as my primary flock but flock improvers. But wow they are some amazing sweet energetic little beasts. I may become over attached.
