It's really much more incubator than I need, but I had a hard time finding something that held a bit more than my hovabator that wasn't a whole lot more expensive.
I'm hoping to do some contract hatching for people, once I'm sure this thing does its job well. I also have some really good stock (mainly seramas) so more live chicks mean more money I can recoup. And if I get out of chickens, god forbid, the resale on an incubator like this should be pretty good!
All that said, if I have really important eggs, and I have a reliable broody, she get's the job. Get a small army of silkies an cochins. You'll be all set for 1/10 the cost!
