Two days ago I hatched out my first ever peachick! Sadly there seems to be no life in any of the other eggs, however, I will give them a few more days in the incubator just in case. I would just be worried that my peachick would be lonely when it got older. I have also got 14 chickens and 15 ducks and I was wondering would that be suitable company for it? In an ideal world I would have successfully hatched even just two peachicks! but unfortunately thats not always the reality of hatching. I am going to see if anyone local to me has any young chicks that I could out in with him but its just later in life that I would be worried about? Any advice would be really appreciated! 20210722_150441.jpg

Ive had a couple turkeys which are pretty close to peacocks as long as you spend time with em in the meantime acting as mama he'll be alright you should let him see the other chickens and ducks as he grows but from a distance so they can't hurt him hopefully he gets a buddy soon when I had turkeys I originally just got one and he was very shy he pretty much just sat in my hand shivering untill I got another one, then again every bird is different maybe he's a tough lil guy and only needs a mama🙌

Thank you so much for the advice...I managed to get hold of 3 local young chicks and they seem to be bonding well!
