What's the best way to get rid of moles?

My dogs are very much into catching little critters.They will spend a LONG time digging. I have bigger holes from them than the moles,lol.They eat what they catch too.Ewwww. I found some guts and half a rib cage yesterday. I let them have their fun and fill the holes.I just started letting my cats into the yard(fenced),so they are still exploring and not really hunting yet.

I use a Nash mole trap with excellent success.

Kitty Litter (used) does work, but be careful using the clay or scoopable around anywhere the chickens may be because it looks like grit and can hurt them/impact a crop. I have heard pouring bleach down the tunnel will deter. I wouldn't treat for grubs if the tunnel is near where the chickens can get to it, would think they may ingest the poison. I like the aerating (sp?) comment Either that or tillers of the soil.
