Whats the difference? African & Brown Chinese

As goslings, how can you tell the difference between Africans and Brown Chinese?
As adults, whats the difference?

Are these Africans?

Wish I could help you but after doing a search I never found any pics of a brown Chinese, only the white. Sorry

I would say they are chinas. They appear to have a very arched neck even at this young age. We have africans and chinas also and the africans are big, but do not have that long swan neck as the chinas due from birth. Hope this helps.

Well this is what I did I googled African Geese and found Metzer Farms/ duck and goose hatchery. They have a lot of info and pictures. Maybe this will help. I can't wait my 2 babies will be comming next thursday.

I am no expert, but they look a lot like my Africans. Either way I hope you are having as much fun as I am with mine.

They look like Brown Chinese goslings. Africans are stockier looking (even as goslings).

I wonder if maybe I have one of each. One has a much shorter neck then the other.

. The "African" are not from Africa...they are similar to the brown chinese but a bit larger. They are from South East China.

I know that Africans are bigger with a storter neck, but I didnt know how much of a difference there was between them when they are young.
