Okay what is the difference in a starlight olive egger and a golden comet? They look very similar.

One lays brown eggs, while the other lays green eggs.
Olive Eggers are mutts like Easter Eggers.

Golden comets are a hybrid Egg layer also made to be a duel purpose hybrid bird.

I have 4 brown egg layers and 8 colorful egg layers I don't know what color yet and 8 possible starlight olive eggers. I am looking to see what kind of rooster to put with my hens, I heard they do better with at least 1 rooster with them.

You don't need a rooster, but it's your choice to get one if you want one.
