whats the easyiest way to crack a quail eggs

I bought some Japanese scissors to open them. It works like a charm.

If you boil them and want them to peel and crack easier, use some vinegar in the boiling water.

I just crack the end of the shell, then pinch the membrane to tear it open. Sometimes I get shells in there, but not too much

For when I crack my quail eggs, I just:


Hold them in one hand, hit it on the counter and rip it open. It gets a little piece of shell in the eggs every once in a while but it is much eaiser to not fumble with scissors and knives when you are cracking 4 or 5 dozen I think. I have a pattern in which I crack each egg so it is a little easier than trying to crack one the first time.
