whats the friendliest breed

wondering what the friendliest breed that goes broody?
i have 1 brown leghorn 3 amber-link & 1 red new hampshire.. i love them all their great but my brown leg horn & red new hampshire are very skittish the 3 amber link are by far the friendliest come to us we hold them.. id love to eventually add the flock but something that'll go broody so that we can have mamma & babies plus eggs for us to eat. Does anone have any recomendations

Silkies are excellent broodies and very friendly but I don't believe they are the best layers.
