whats the hardiest winter breed of standard chicken?????????????

My Rose comb Rhode Island Reds don't care about the temperature one bit.
I had seen them out and about when it was -5 and about a foot or so of so of snow on the ground.

I will say American game are some tough little birds also.

Despite the "Ice" in Iceland, the north-central US and Canada are FAR colder than Iceland, surrounded by ocean warmed by the North Atlantic current. While cold there, they don't get the bitter continental cold of -30 like U.P. of Michigan, Maine, Minnesota and the Dakotas. Even southern Alaska is warmer than those areas.

Just looked it up

Avg. high in Iceland in January is 30 degrees F
Avg. high in Michigan/Sault Ste. Marie in January is 22 degrees F
Avg. high in Duluth, MN in January 15 degrees

Water makes a big difference
