What's the largest amount of chicks your hen has had at once?

I'm wandering what the highest number of chicks your hen has had at once and see how ''busy'' your hen was and see how big of a family she had! The most my hen has had at once was 4

I have a bantam hen... she is called "Teeny" for obvious reasons... she went missing for 10 days... I eventually found her in a bale of straw, she had a conical shaped nest and there were over twenty eggs in there ( not all her eggs ).... I moved her into a cage with all of the eggs - she hatched fifteen of them...amazing!

Yes,whats the most one of your hen has held?

Not quit sure think it was about 8

Sadly no...I tend to forget to take photographs! I had to remove some of them from her as I was afraid she would crush them as there were so many...my Silkie " Maman" became the new Mom for seven of them...
