I love naming them! I don't know how you people with LOTS of chickens do it when you have alot of the same breed, now that takes talent!

My chickies are on the way so I have names picked out but not assigned yet. You'll see the theme as you read: Nanny, Gertie, Mayzie, Cassie, Lucy, Ellie, Winnie, Annie, Sadie, Bessie, 5 Barred rock and 5 black australorp

Well are roo is named BigDaddy (only roo in the coop), but for a nick name i just call him roo roo.

The more interesting is our red sex-linked named Booger because she is curious, and into all my business. This chicken also would run up and peck my finger everytime i reached in the box when she was little while all the other chicks ran away.

Then there is our chicken named Bucky (short for the breed Buckeye chicken because i'm originally from Ohio) but later on we found out that she is actually a red sex-linked and not a Buckeye, but the name stuck.

oh, and we also have an ameracuana named chipmunk.....b/c of her puffy cheeks!

I have the BRs: Lavern and Shirley, my BO: Possum (because she like to climb) RIR: Ruby, my Red Star: Pie (short for pumkin pie) my Splash Cochin: Gracie they live in the coop called Hen Headquarters. My new Silkies will all have French names because they are going to live in their own little Silkie Chateau coop. Babette, Colette, Paulette, Suzette, Nanette and Pierre.
