What's the name of your chicken coop? "Chicken" Hilton here

My neighbor thought our coop was pretty fancy, so she made us a sign that says 'Palais d' Poulet'. It's great, but my favorite (from this site) was the one some disgruntled husband called 'What the Cluck?!' and I think that's my husband's secret name for ours too.

We ran a poll on FB to get some help w/naming our coop. The selections were:
Cluckingham Palace
Girls Only Cluck House
The Chix Chalet
The Egg-Sit-Era
Fuzzy Butt Inn
Eggs-cellent Day Inn
The Cluckingham Palace won the poll. There is a sign on the of the coop in the shape of an egg that says " Have an Eggs-ce-llent Day!" And with all of the locks, extra fencing and predator-proofing we did, we called it Fort Fuzzy Butt as we were building! Now, we most often refer to it as "the coop", the "little run" and the "yard". The coop has a secure attached run, and the whole thing sits inside a chain link fenced area that once was a garden space that's about 18X40. The girls love it! We've been happy chicken owners for two weeks today!

Ours is "Cluckmore House and Garden" We also refer to it as the "Taj M'Cluck". It is quite nice, being 8 x 16 with 4 windows.

It has 2 gable vents and one center turbine vent. There is a place for a ceiling fan in the center of the gable space, directly under the turbine vent. It has linoleum floor with 6" litter of grass clippings. It has tan vinyl siding and a cranberry red entrance door, flanked by two pop doors with walkboards for the hens. It has a slate-colored 35 yr roof and gutters too. Pen is 2,000 sq ft for 24 birds, with three shade trees and two sunny areas. Our garden is nearby hence the 'garden' part of the title.

The white Silkie henhouse is called 'Rooster house' per my granddaughter, De'Anna. She also painted a picture of a rooster on it - she is 6 years old. The green henhouse for my standard birds is called 'The Henton'.
