And while we are on the subject of spelling....

One of the kids in the 4-H group I lead brought a litter of kittens to a fund raiser we did. He was hoping to find good homes for the kittens.

He even made a sign. Lots of people looked at the kittens and stopped to read the sign, but nobody wanted to take one home.

It wasn't until one of the 4-H parents stopped to read the sign that we figured why there were no takers. Apparently the youngster was distracted before he finished the sign because it read:

"Free Kittens To A Good Ho"

That's funny! Poor kid, I bet he was embarrassed. Wonder why no one said anything to him about the spelling.

I'm currently building our coop. We adopted our daughter from Vietnam, so in honor of her heritage, I named it Chuồng Gà, which is Vietnamese for fowl house or hen coop. I got plenty of practice blogging during our adoption process, so I recently started a blog for our chickens and coop project.

I've recently decided that I want a small chicken tractor w/ two nesting boxes so I'm going to call it The Chicken Coupe because it only "seats" two.

We moved last fall but brought our screen door with us from the old house. The house number is still on the bottom displayed prominately. When we decided to put it on the hen house for additional ventilation my son decided to christen our coop '925 Chicken Lane'. So, our coop has a name and an address

I'm going to highjack this thread for a minute...We live on Dragonfly Drive and I'd like to name the coop something related to that but can't come up with anything. Anybody have any thoughts?
