What's the neatest egg color you've seen?

If you get a pretty egg take many pictures of it and with other eggs. In and out of baskets. Sometimes they may have a basket contest.

I have a hen who lays green speckled eggs. I'll try to get a picture of one this afternoon

I don't remember who laid the dark green one, it was a long time ago.
But I have an OE hen who lays eggs that color.
This hen's daughter still lays gray eggs. The egg to the left. I like how they are shine-y and not matte.

I had a grey egg in my coop recently. Not sure who laid it and I haven't seen another one but I was encouraged!

I like the gray ones. Mine never had the powdery bloom that makes them look gray.

Mine were a nice glossy gray.
No one ever asks about the bloom on dark maran eggs, but you can wash off the dark brown color.

The eggs from my "pink" layer. she's actually a cross breed that lays tan eggs but with a thick bloom.
