What's the oldest you've had a duck start to quack?? Hoping I have some late quakers. My crested magpie(8 weeks), khaki campbell(8 weeks) and one of my pekins(9 weeks) have been real quiet. Hoping ya'll can help me out based on the coloring with my khaki.... I know it can take up to 10 weeks or so to quack, but I feel like they should be quacking by now. I have 2 females the same age that started quacking weeks ago.

I feel like the ones I’m always waiting and waiting and waiting for a quack end up being drakes. Seems like the rasp comes later than quacking.

But who knows, there could still be quacks comin!

yeah the magpie is tough because they're such a quiet/calm breed or at least that's what I've read.

I’ve never had mag pies so I can’t help ya there.

Looking at your pics I don’t see any drake feathers but I think it’s still early for those. Sometimes they don’t come in til closer to 20 weeks.
