Well I would try my very hardest to protect the babies. I was planning on building boxes up ontop of the support beams, so the pigeons can get up there but the peacocks couldn't. Would that work? I would also build little boxes and attach them to my 2"x4" welded wire, oh I didn't think about the wire spacing, would pigeons be able to get out of that wire?
And how big should I make their nest boxes? I plan on building 4-5 for them to choose from. I was thinking of building 8"x8"x8" high boxes, with a 3 inch lip in the front to keep the straw in. I will be putting the nest boxes up in difficult places so my peacocks can't reach them so they can successfully raise their young. Also do "West of England Tumblers" brood?
