I've got Ayam Ketawa hatching eggs on the way. Supposed to be delivered Tuesday.


I've got a few Malay eggs in the incubator.

This is a test hatch, hoping for Malay X EE crosses for my Rainbow Runners project.

But possible fathers are:

2 LF Silkies, & one bantam

2 Malays

3 Easter Eggers

1 Heritage Plymouth Barred Rock

1 Marans/American Game cross

Are also fathers I need for the project, so it's going to be a surprise when they hatch.

If I get a Silkie X Malay, that crossing will be used for my Giant Silkie project.

I have a frizzle NN hen that lays a green egg, I hatched last year. I ordered it from Frizzle farm in NC

She is very na-k-y.

Hey, I'll have eggs coming this week, too! More silkied Cochins for me, of course! I'm hoping to get lots of Blues and Splashes in this batch so I can establish a Blue flock for rotational breeding with my other two flocks.

I also have some Chocolate and Chocolate Cuckoo Cochin bantam eggs coming, which is another rare variety I guess! If I get a good male out of those, I hope to give him some silkied Black hens to breed and work on producing silkied Chocolates as well.

Porcelain d'uccle
Black langshan
Silver lakenvelder

These are the only breeds I have that are rare breeds or varieties.

I’ve got Sanjack Longcrowers, Ayami Ketawa,, Schijndelaar, bbs Breda, Indio Gigante, croad langshan, blue salmon faverolles, some project color brahmas & f6 Olive eggers that im working with to get bronze & gold egg colors. My Longcrowers are probably my favorite right now.
