What's the scoop on crossing BCM's and Blue copper marans

I've read that people breed the blue coppers to black coppers. Is this like a blue/black crossing giving 50% black 50% blue? Are there any issues with doing this?

Blue coppers X black coppers (or vice versa ) will be 50 % blue copper 50% black copper
