You missed Ajo (Garlic in Spaish), Eloy (Oh my God! in Hebrew; if you have been there, you will understand), Tombstone, Gila Bend (busted fan belt capital of the world), Elephant Foot, Nadaville, Cornville, Casa Grande ( named for an old Indian ruin, but conveniently near the state prison) and a whole host of others, many of which are not suitable for this forum.

True happiness is seeing Eloy, Arizona in your rear view mirror.

Rufus

Most of those wouldn't count on my "weird name" list, but Elephant Foot and Nadaville certainly would.

Oh, and not a city/town, but a geographic area that I bet almost no one not from Az will pronounce correctly: Mogollon Rim

Hmm, how man guesses can we get from people who DO NOT KNOW the correct pronunciation?

La Veta, Colorado?
I dont know if it qualifies as weird, really.. but it always makes me think of the cheese.
