What is chloronex used for?
I have not heard of it before...I will see if I can find it in the Vet drug book for you now.

A vet gave this for a "cold" . real name for it is Chlorteracycline HCI soluble powder concentrate

What I found is that it's a tetracycline drug (https://www.drugs.com/vet/chloronex-soluble-powder-concentrate.html) . Hard to find info on chickens... did find this: http://www.merckvetmanual.com/pharmacology/antibacterial-agents/tetracyclines
chart at the very bottom (click to enlarge) says 5 days for chickens for other forms of tetracycline, doesn't list poultry for this form. If it were me I'd probably go with at least 2 weeks just to be safe, unless someone comes up with better info. Hope that helps.

Thank you coach, yes very hard to find anything about if we can or can not eat the eggs. We are not eating them to be on the safe side. Will call the vet and ask but between us I trust people with chickens then a young vet.
