This was my first chicken ever. She's since gone from this planet, but she was the most affectionate, loving chicken ever. She was the bantiest of the bantams; she could easily sit in my palm, and I have little girl hands!

I know that this isn't a great picture, but it's all I have left. Special notes of things you can't see really well in the picture:
-She was heavily booted.
-She was four-toed, and the skin on her feet was a palish yellow.
-Her feathers were uniformally black with green iridescence, except for a few gold flecks around the back of her neck.
-She was bearded.
-Her tail shape was unique, somewhat akin to a Seabright.

Any guesses? Thanks so much!

D'Uccles body shapes DO look pretty close to how she was shaped. Thanks! Anyone have any guess as to what the other half/halves of the equation might be, heh?
