My 6 month old cockerek has some black spots on his comb(not shown in picture) and he has gray at the ends of his comb. What can I do to help him and how long will this take to heal?

Is it cold (below freezing) where you are?

He looks great to me. He may have a touch of frostbite on the tips of his comb if he has been exposed to damp sub freezing or dry very cold temperatures. If it is frostbite, leave it alone. It will generally heal just fine on its own.

If it gets worse or looks like it's getting infected, only then you would want to treat.

My Rhode Island Red's comb looks like that too. I tried asking and googling and most people just say "frost bite", but it would be impossible considering it started when he was about 3 months still lived in my snuggly warm basement. He's outside now and heading 6 months and it still looks the same (no better, no worse). If you figure it out, please let me know (and i'll do the same). My only guess would be that it's part of puberty or maybe bruising from getting beat up by the ducks because he's always trying to hump them? I don't know.
