Whats this on my hens comb

Hi, i've found this on my chicken, What is it? What would have caused it?

It appears to be an injury of some sort, put some neosporin ointment or triple antibiotic ointment on it and it'll heal.

Yep. Dawg is correct, of course

. Don't happen to have a rather "bossy" hen do you? I have a couple sex-links that have beat up my the comb, as well as tailfeathers, on my poor winpy roo.

I also use bagbalm on the combs. seems to have the added effect that nobody likes the taste of it.
