Whats this rooster doing ?

This is a young RIR rooster . he is alone in a pen with a young pullet. For the last couple of days he has walked around with his wings dropped like that . I will say that yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far {close to 80} . But if he is hot then he is going to have problems come july. Anyway he eats and drinks well. seems overall content and happy . any thoughts ?
