Whats up wih my hens

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You've gotten some good advice/links above, hope they get back to laying soon for you.

Thanks to you all. I will wait it out and see. I live in Eloy and it does get hot here. Some of you may have seen may adds on Craig's List. My wife and I have a small hobby farm and we have about a 150 chickens and are doing well marketing the eggs. We also have confined pure breed that we are raising for hatching eggs and doing ok at that. Some of these are rare breeds like Russian Orloffs that we get out of Wilcox. We are city folks that decided that we wanted to get out of the rat race and go to a more laid back life style. Farming is a lot more work than I thought but wouldn't go back for anything. You guys have been a great help to me and I certainly appreciate it. If anyone is close to me you can come by anytime and let me know how to make things better for my girls. I would also like to buy eggs or chicks of the same breeds I have to mix up the blood lines. Thanks again folks,

Mirando and Barb

I think a lot of us city folks have that dream. I often think I'd love to be back in the mountains with my dogs, a horse or two, goats, and lots of chickens. Then I go visit my friends and have to milk goats before breakfast, LOL! So I'm settling for bringing a little of the country to my city yard.
