I loved The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Green Acres. They were all cancelled at the same time, it was called "Rural Purging" because they weren't politically correct and they felt the subject matter was not mature or sophisticated enough for the general viewers. Now we have crap to watch.

went and checked it was Greer Garson and the year was 1942

Whenever I am wandering around the house doing things, I somehow always end up humming or whistling the Green Acres song.
